Yesterday I was reading the start of Galatians 6 during a bible study. It talks about how those who are godly should come alongside and restore someone who has fallen into sin. It really got me to thinking about whether we are ready to accept this calling to be Godly men and women, or are we too busy and absorbed in our own lives to even notice let alone help others who are falling by the way-side?
Its a challenge to consider how the Christian life should be one of giveness and sacrifice, and to think whether we have fallen away from that. Consider the story of the good Samaritan. Who have you been more like recently? Take a good look to see if you are too involved with yourself and your own life to see others who are falling away. Are you willing to be a Godly person?

Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you worship continually, able to rescue you from the lions?
