Yesterday I got the chance to cook lunch for the church. I chose something quite simple and something I am used to doing. So I went for jacket potatoes (rubbed in olive oil and salt) and then a mince dish, or beans/cheese, and salad. It all went well and I had some kind people help me, especially with the chopping.
And everyone loved it, telling me how healthy it was and how everything tasted so good. Someone even felt they had to tell me during our evening meeting. The interesting thought I had after everything had settled down was that I actually good more positive feedback for cooking lunch than for preaching a sermon, maybe I have missed my calling.

Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you worship continually, able to rescue you from the lions?
